Laura, a middle-aged woman working in a figurine-making factory, is unable to indulge in physical pleasures. So as to overcome her problem, she peeps into the sexual lives of others and hires young men to evoke the illusion of intimacy. Tudor, an actor, making extra money as a masseur, craves a woman who spurns all his attempts at establishing contact. So he pursues her, touching the things she herself has touched. Laura attends Tudor and Paul’s interactive show, and is fascinated by it. She becomes a silent observer of their lives and lonely desire, which seems to resonate with her own experience.
